What to do in Djerba in 3 days
By 3H Travel

A simple itinerary to enjoy Djerba in three days: heritage, beaches, crafts and the lagoon.
Three days are enough to get a good feel for Djerba without rushing. Here is a suggested itinerary you can adapt to your pace and the season.
Day 1: Houmt Souk and the north coast
Start with the Houmt Souk medina: the jewellers’ souk, weaving workshops, fondouks. Then climb the Borj El Kebir fort for the view over the port and have a fresh-fish lunch by the quays.
Day 2: villages and crafts
Head to Guellala for pottery, then Erriadh and its murals. On the way back, stop at El Ghriba synagogue, respecting opening times and dress rules. Distances are short, but plan transport.
Day 3: sea and lagoon
Spend the last day by the sea: swimming at a quiet beach or a boat trip to the flamingo lagoon (seasonal). In the late afternoon, tea on the coast is a fine way to catch a last sunset.
